Birthday parties have become the land of disposable plates, cups and goodness knows what else. And I get it, who wants to buy a full set of reusable bits that will only get used once or twice a year? That’s where I step in! Through the Party Kit Network you can hire a full set of what you need for your party – plates, bowls, cups, cutley, jugs, serving platters and table clothes. Some kits have even more items available! All plastic so you don’t have to worry about breakages but all reusable so your party doesn’t contribute to landfill.
Simply visit The Party Kit Network to find your nearest kit and fill in the booking enquiry form. Each kit is run independently so depending on where you are there may be a charge, a deposit, or a suggested donation.
I have choosen to run my own kit somewhat separately from Lily Loves as it is not a business move for me, instead it comes from my own personal desire to reduce single use items where possible. If you are in Northern Ireland and are interested in hiring my kit or even just asking about the process please feel free to give me a shout!
Hiring of each kit is £10 for 3 days (i.e. collect/deliver the day before the event and return the day after, unless otherwise agreed). There is an optional washing charge of £5 and a returnable deposit of £20 to cover any losses or breakages. I currently have two kits, with the following in each:
