These plain leggings are perfect for preschool/primary school. I know I know, who buys handmade clothes for school but hear me out! With all of the growth spurts in those early years it’s a hard push to get one set of school trousers that will fit for the whole year. Trust me, I’m right there with you! I made Amelia a pair of plain leggings in age 3-6 year for starting pre-school in Sept 2022 and they are still going strong! Admittedly, she isn’t hard on the knees of things so we don’t get holes but even with all the running around, painting etc and the washes that go with that they are still in fab condition.
As always there are 2 adjustment features:
- Tall, stretchy jersey waist band which can be folder down for the smallest size and unrolled as your child grows. It also provides a cosy tummy layer in the colder months when on the smaller sizes!)
- stretchy jersey cuffs which can be rolled up for the shortest length and then unrolled as your child grows.
Made with organic cotton jersey to ensure no nasties are near your baby or child’s skin. It’s production has the lowest environemtnal impact possible. All seams are rainbow overlocked to ensure durability.

Wash at 30oC, iron on low, do not tumble dry.
